Used to be good but now they have grown beyond their ability to manage their patient load. Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours in the office - 1 hour waiting (past your scheduled appointment time) and another hour waiting for your 12 miinutes with the doctor. They’ve become a factory - and not a very efficient one at that. Very disappointing.

I know going to the Eye Doctor may sometimes seem tedious, but I had such an awesome experience from start to finish - Front Desk so welcoming and so informative; the techs performing initial tests so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating; the doc again so professional, patient, and knowledgeable. Thank You Carty Eye!!!

Medical side: top notch, Buying glasses? Go somewhere else. I had cataract surgery and then for some reason decided to get my new glasses right there ,in a wing of Carty Eye Assoc. Bryn MAwr office I paid $500 AFTER INSURANCE for glasses that I had to select out of a "Medicare tray"-- ie, few choices, When I went to America's Best (7900 block of City Line Ave, ON THE ADVICE of another Carty customer) I got glasses I really (liked hundreds of frame choices), same Rx, anti-glare feature in the lenses, for JUST UNDER $200 (sale on frames). Dont be in a hurry!!!
