A funeral home is the last place one hopes to leave a review.. death and grief are horrible to deal with as a family, let alone the logistics of the funeral ... caskets ... grave plots .. Waud's Funeral Home has been so gracious over the years with my family. I was born and raised in Tillamook County.. fast forward to being an adult, living in Chicago, who has had to bury 2 brothers over the years... then most recently both parents who died days apart. Michael Waud was gracious and kind with the passing of my brothers. Miguel was amazing and helped me after the passing of my parents. God guides those who can comfort people into the correct profession.

When we called Waud's for the very first time we were still processing the news of our youngest son's unexpected passing who was going to be receiving a military honors service. We didn't really have many details and didn't have any clue as to what to do. From the very first phone call they made everything so easy, and we didn't have to worry about anything. They coordinated everything with the military, flowers, Patriot Guard Riders for escort, the viewing, the planeside services. Miguel Perez is our hero. My brother was respectfully buried by these caring people about 5 years ago. Lacking a tombstone and wanting my brother represented for the family to share, I arranged a Tombstone. The choices of stone, the styles of print, the forms of shape, and price was so easy. They even sent an email with an approval mock-up. I contacted Miguel and through a series of emails, a selection was made and payment sent. A short couple weeks later a photo of the marker was sent to me. It was actually so easy and it looks amazing.
