Huge thank you to the staff and providers at Salem Health Urgent Care for getting me in same day and helping bridge my medications after a cross-country move. They were friendly, efficient, and made sure I didn’t have a dangerous gap in my thyroid and autoimmune meds — something that’s been tough with the current primary care shortage.
Everyone I interacted with was kind and helpful, the facility was clean, and the parking was easy. They got me what I needed to stay stable until I can get established with a new PCP, and I’m genuinely grateful for that level of care.

I had scheduled an appointment ahead of time for pretty late in the day due to the my chart appointment setter not working for awhile, once I got there they told me they should have called me because they do not accept my insurance, however, they accept my secondary insurance. I had to wait for them to contact someone to confirm, then I was told they do not accept any of my insurance and I was basically turned away.
They did provide me with a list of other urgent cares, but it's just very ridiculous to be turned away because the office staff does not have the proper training for basic things like this, especially with dealing with an illness that I needed to get...read full review
I'm leaving three stars because the two times I have been here have been pleasant experiences. Friendly staff short waiting time but today I called to get a same daY appointment and I was transferred to a medical assistant and was on hold for an hour and then hung up on I called back and the same thing happened but this time I hung up after 45 mins of waiting on hold.
