Urgent Care | Kaiser Permanente Interstate South provides exceptional care with kind and patient doctors, making patients feel welcome. The facility operates efficiently, with quick check-in, x-rays, and doctor visits, allowing patients to be in and out within an hour and a half. The staff is extremely kind and pleasant, and the convenient location offers a one-stop-shop for all healthcare needs, including doctor appointments, testing, and pharmacy services. The urgent care doctors are praised for their expertise, with one patient stating that Dr. Sauvain was a "god send" in figuring out the next steps for a complex case. Another patient was impressed with Dr. Bob, who did everything he could during a distressing situation. The urgent care doctor was also described as excellent, quickly diagnosing the patient's condition and providing a short and long-term plan to help the patient return to daily activities. The nurses, such as Ricki, are also commended for their amazing care, making patients feel comfortable despite the pain they are experiencing.
Bring a book, a pillow and a spare battery for the cellphone. There's a coffee shop in the bldg during office hours. The Wi-Fi is good, personel are great but be prepared to wait for 3 hours. Ask triage if going straight to Sunnyside ER might be faster.
The virtual waiting room is an excellent innovation. Thank you so much for making that happen. It made a huge difference. The doctor I saw was incredible and I felt heard and she didn’t seem to be too rushed. Overall, it was a great experience. The one thing that could’ve been a little bit better was to have a more aftercare instructions. I’m not sure if I need to follow up and I wasn’t clear on whether my symptoms should go away really quickly or how long or whether I need to take it easy for a while.
My experience at this urgent care was exceptional, which has been my experience since joining Kaiser in 2026 after 20+ years with other providers.
I was in triage within 5-10 minutes of walking in the door. I was then called back to a room within 5 minutes and spoke with a nurse. Then the doctor came in ~5-10 minutes later. Everyone was professional, friendly and helpful.
Couldn't ask for a better experience.
