Ok, I've been meaning to post a review for a while...because Kasey is amazing. She may literally be the best colorist in Portland. I have dark brown hair and she put in the most gentle and authentic looking highlights/balayage (my profile photo is old and doesn't show her work) people asked if me if I had been dying my hair brown!! I always wanted to know if blond-ish people have more fun, (they do not, but love my hair regardless) I am so grateful to have found her. When/if I move, I'll come back to PDX to get my hair done by Kasey. She's so wonderful and her cuts are always perfect as well... you cannot go wrong with her. I have gone to Kasey since moving to Portland 3 years ago. Really, my hair is her hair at this point. She is talented, meticulous, intentional, and communicative. My hair stays healthy (do what she says), and she makes sure I know how to style it at home before I leave. This is the only salon I've ever purchased any product from because I trust her and the salon owners (and David) whole-heartedly. I have showed up to Kasey for 3 years and have told her to do what she wants ...except this last time. I asked her to make it blonde and cut it off. Kasey is the best hair stylist, guru, genius I've ever had the pleasure of having my hair done by. She is not only incredibly nice and has a great customer service vibe, but she actually really takes the time to understand what it is that you want, has you clarify what you're saying to make sure she's totally aware of what you want and then knocks it out of the park. I've actually never had my hair come out so exactly the way I hoped it would time after time.
