Sam is the best acupuncturist I’ve seen - and I’ve received treatment for 20 years. I went in for help with a hip impingement (usually needs surgery). After 3 sessions my pain was gone and I no longer feel like surgery is inevitable. She’s helped with my anxiety, seasonal depression and pain related to Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. She’s supportive and kind.

I had never been to an acupuncturist before, but was suffering from nerve pain in my shoulder. I needed help! So I sent an email to Burlingame Acupuncture and got a response within a few minutes - I could get in that afternoon! Yay! Like I said, I'd never seen an acupuncturist before, so I didn't know quite what to expect. Sam was warm and friendly. She asked me all kinds of questions about my condition and my habits. Then she examined my shoulder, which was not fun, but it was telling. After all that, she had me lay down and before I knew it, I'd been needled! It didn't hurt at all and did seem to help. I have been going to Samantha for almost 2 years now and let me tell you she is fantastic. Originally I started acupuncture with her for a shoulder impingement. I was skeptical at first, I'll admit, as I was completely new to eastern medicine and naturopath practices. She made me feel super comfortable, and it seems she has healed my shoulder because it hasn't bothered me for over a year now. After the shoulder issue was cleared up, I continued my appointments with her not only for maintenance but because I am a barber and I stand on my feet for 9 hours per day, 5 days a week.
