Vellore Village Pet Hospital

Parliament Animal Hospital is one of the few places that actually gave my pet good care. We’ve been to a few other clinics before — most were pricey and didn’t really seem to care. Here it felt different. The staff were kind, honest, and I’m really thankful for the help and the genuine service

I cannot express how grateful I am for the incredible care my dog received at this veterinary clinic. After visiting seven different vets and specialists, no one could figure out what was wrong with him. He suffered from a simple inner ear infection that led to facial paralysis and the loss of sight in one eye. His own vet even suggested putting him down or at least removing his eye, which left me devastated.
Then I found this amazing, kind doctor who truly understands animals. Not only did he save my dog's life, but he also put him on a special diet that has made a world of difference. The compassion and expertise shown here are unmatched; it’s the only place I trust completely. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and supportive, making every visit a positive experience. I never question the doctor's work because I know he genuinely cares for his patients. Thank you for giving my dog a second chance!

Even though I went without an appointment, they helped me a lot. My two cats and I were very pleased with their friendly information.

$75 for 4 mins.

I am so upset.

Our dog had surgery 4 days ago and one of his staples partially came lose, one end sticking out. We observed that it was bothering him and emailed the surgery clinic which is 1.5 hr away from us. We sent them pictures and they instructed us to either take it out ourselves, drive 1.5 hrs to see them, or go to our nearest clinic - Vellore Village Pet Hospital.

I sent an email to both clinics, vellore village and the surgery clinic once the appointment was booked for, which was a few hours later. I was told the fee would be $75.

Once in the room, Dr. Sam asked surgery questions, used a magnifying glass, explored the site and said he would not be taking it out because it does not seem to be bothering him despite how much we told him it was. This entire encounter took 2 minutes.

After walking about, he called us back into the exam room and said "come back, let me take a look to make sure everything else is okay". This took another 2 minutes.

We were then billed $75.
For a total of a 4 minute exam.
And we left with the staple still sticking out of him.

I have no problem with paying for vet bills. We've spent a total of 7k on surgery in the past 12 months but I really cannot justify this kind of service. It feels really scummy.

I respect vets, veterinary teams, and the difficult emotional nature of this job. I've also worked in the industry before, with many different types of vets, and I can say that these are the ones you should avoid.
