The staff and technicians at the clinic are always very attentive and careful. The best part is that they take extra care with cats, who are indeed more sensitive during consultations. The veterinarian, Dr. Bastos, is always very attentive and explains everything very clearly, in addition to providing excellent feedback after consultations, exams, and procedures. Excellent service from the entire team!

I took my cat to Yonge Street Animal Hospital to check a lump that was on his lower stomach. The Vet we saw whose name is Dr. Tharsis Bastos. He charged us for a medical exam and evaluation. He concluded that the lump on my cat was just a fat deposit and was nothing to worry about. The cost for the exam was $168.94 I gave the Vet my insurance claim form. A few days later I received an email from the Vet we saw Dr. Bastos to bring my cat back to be reexamined because he didn’t remember my cat and didn’t remember the examination he did nor the findings which he diagnosed as a fat deposit. His excuse was that he sees a lot of cats and didn’t remember us. He kept no record of our Vet visit and had no record of the findings on my cat Mateos stomach. Dr. Bastos refuses to put the insurance claim through because he didn’t keep record. Not only is this irresponsible it’s malpractice. I will not ever bring my cat to Yonge Street Animal Hospital again. I strongly recommend that others do not go to this Clinic. In 15 years of having pets, I’ve never experienced this problem before.

The doctors, techs, and staff are all so amazing. They take the time to explain the treatment plan, listen to my concerns, and help come up with solutions together. I feel so listened to and understood. I really appreciate the time and care the team puts into my cat. They have always done an amazing job, I couldn’t be happier. Also, the wait times are SOO short, I am seen right when my appointment is.
