May 28,26- We had a great experience at Village Gate Animal Hospital with Milo. The staff were kind, professional, and took the time to make sure Milo was comfortable and well cared for. The clinic is clean, welcoming, and we never felt rushed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy vet!

I visited Village Gate veterinary clinic with my sister and our cat, and we had an amazing experience. Everyone at the hospital was incredibly friendly, kind, and professional. A special thank you to Dr. Hesam, Kristina, kyra, and Victoria. You were all so supportive and caring, and you truly helped us through a very stressful time while diagnosing our cat’s condition. Thanks to your expertise and care, our cat is now doing very well and has recovered beautifully. We are truly grateful and feel that this improvement is a result of your dedication and compassion.

I would give zero stars if I could. Please no one take their pets here, you will be overcharged thousands of dollars and receive terrible care. I’ve been taking my cats and dog here since 2018 but just couldn’t take the awful overpriced service since the ownership change. After very expensive bloodwork to test for heartworm, they never called with the results and then dispensed medication that did not treat heartworm at all. When I took time off of work to exchange the medication they made me wait thirty minutes before exchanging the meds. Then they tried to give me meds that would expire before my dog could be done with the course. Finally, they refused to dispense one of my dog’s other medications even though they had all the records of it being dispensed previously. They wanted to charge for another full exam to re-diagnose my dog before filling his meds. They regularly charge $500 for meds you can get online for $100. DO NOT GO HERE.

I am really disappointed with village gate after today’s visit. There is a change in management and also staff and I have never felt so disrespected as a client after going to this clinic for 9 years. My dog has been going there since 2017. The technician was disrespectful and talked rude and did not even introduce herself. I was also disappointed that I was asked three times the same questions as to why I was there when I had given all my questions and concerns ahead of the appointment. The team including the vet had not reviewed his records or been prepared to take care of my dog. A new vet that’s only been there for one month did not even take the time to review my dog prior to meeting us for the first time. Past vets like dr tool and doctor Stewart were very caring and knowledgeable about helping my dog and today that was not at all the approach, the approach today was negative. I guess there must be a change in management as I did also ask to speak with the manager while there to explain what happened however it seems that he was more prepared in taking the opinion of his staff than a client who has been going to this clinic for 9 years. There response was go to another clinic, so if your looking for compassionate care for your animal I would not recommend village gate now!!!! In the past I would but after today I would never bring my dog back to this place. I do not feel confident in the vet nor the behaviour of the staff and further more the manager who was just ready to throw away my business of 9 years.
