There’s no performance or pretentiousness. Poker playing on the tv screen when I came in? They simply ask what you want and do their best to give you exactly that. What really stood out to me, though, was the hospitality. Everyone was so kind and welcoming.

Shirley is genius.
She charges a fair price and will get it done in half the time. I loathe to put on my real rating of 10 stars out of 5 because it will inevitably make her busier. And I love that I can walk in for a quick haircut. I don’t even have to explain what I want. She knows what she’s doing. I just sit down and look at her and say, please fix my hair.
She smiles her knowing and friendly smile, nods, and then quietly and efficiently makes me look good. She can chat or she can work in silence, it’s your choice, she takes your lead.

$10 for a bang cut. Nice people, skilled at haircuts, other customers also seemed pleased. They didn’t mind that I walked in without an appointment. The hair stylist didn’t pressure me to get hair treatments, like some other salons do. The interior of the store was bright and clean. Will continue having my bangs trimmed here
ETA: Went back in July for another bang cut, and I stand by my original review. The hairdresser was as detailed as last time, being very careful not to trim too much hair. Glad I cancelled my appointment at a fancy, high-end salon to come here instead.
