My dog had an unexpected nail break and we had to bring him in. We walked in with no appointment and expected a very long wait time. The vet tech at the front was very kind and welcoming, she reached out to Dr.Conteh to see if he was able to come in early and take a look at our dog. The doctor came in early, throughly examined him and explained next steps very clearly. They were extremely patient, caring and knowledgeable. Dr. Conteh definitely knows what he’s doing, excellent veterinarian! Wonderful service here!

I would like by saying that this is by far the worse vet I’ve ever went too , a lot of their staff lie to you , don’t tell you the truth on your animals , don’t look after them properly and even when it’s their fault they don’t admit it…
Dr Singh recently lost his license and just got it back a few months ago . I don’t trust him one bit
Dr Conteh ( NEW OWNER) just got his license a few years ago himself . He acts like he knows everything and when it comes down to your animal they will never tell you the truth they just want money . Very selfish in my opinion. Says he will follow up with you and never does , says alot of things that he never falls through with .
Dr Kaur ( the lady ) she will lie right to your face , and not tell you the truth about what is going on with your pet . I’ve had nothing bad bad experiences with her in the past .
It comes to show how “ much “ they care for your animals when a dog just last night got lost and ran away with a IV in his leg… shame on you guys .
I will never ever come back here and I hope this review also stops a lot of people from coming here . This place makes me sick to my stomach. I’ve dealt with alot of stuff from these ppl and I don’t trust them in the hands of animals. In my opinion this place needs to get shut down . Seriously sick place they are not professional at all . Even the receptionist people some are nice but others are very rude , I can’t be bothered by any of them.
SHAME ON YOU GUYS FOR BEING SUCH HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND TREATING ANIMALS LIKE TRASH

We had a scare with our 3 month old kitten yesterday who had eaten something toxic so we rushed over to Birch-Dan as it was the only place open. Dr Conteh gave us an immediate examination within seconds of arriving despite us being first time customers. He was prompt, empathetic, knowledgable and honest. I was afraid an emergency visit like this would have cost hundreds of dollars but he was extremely fair in his rate. Highly Recommend. Thank you again Dr. Conteh

We had a terrifying late-night emergency when our pup ran onto the road and was hit by a car, and we rushed to Birch-Dan Animal Hospital, which was open 24 hours.
Dr. Conteh was an absolute godsend. He was very knowledgeable, took exceptional care of our pup and went out of his way to explain the X-rays and results in such a gentle, calm, and caring manner. Our pup felt more comfortable with him than we’ve ever seen him at a vet. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend Dr. Conteh and the team at Birch-Dan Animal Hospital!

Definitely recommend this clinic both of my dogs go here .Dr. Conteh is amazing vet who is so kind and patient. I left the clinic feeling so much better I couldn’t have brought my dog to a better place !

My cat, Simba wasn't urinating and pooping normally for a few days and had taken him to our regular vet and he was very constipated. They charged so much and gave us medications but my cat just didn't seem to be getting better. I brought my cat today after midnight to Birch-Dan Animal Hospital because he hadn't pooped allll day. The receptionist/assistant and Dr Conteh were absolutely AMAZING!!! They are so friendly, kind, caring and compassionate. Dr. Conteh didn't try to push a bunch of medications on us and he didn't price gouge us. Prices were very reasonable and service was amazing! Thank you for everything! And thank God I found Birch-Dan Animal Hospital on Google at midnight. It was truly a God sent miracle 🙏🏻

Highly recommend, great friendly staff. Always available for me when needed in emergencies. They take the time to explain treatments and cost. We switched them two years ago and it was the best decision we ever made. 24/7 availability is a fantastic bonus

Five stars honestly feels like an understatement. Dr. Conteh and his team were such a pleasure to deal with. We had an emergency with our cat Misty, and the calm after-hours environment completely changed how we feel about bringing our cats to the vet.
We have two cats and they are definitely not fans of vet visits, but Dr. Conteh took his time and patiently warmed up to Misty, making her feel comfortable throughout her procedure. That alone eased so much of my anxiety during the visit.
I really appreciated the calm, gentle approach and how informative the appointment was. They even followed up a few days later and again a week later to check on her and make sure she was doing better, which meant a lot to us.
Dr. Conteh also helped guide us on important diet changes for both of our girls so they can live long, healthy lives. We’re incredibly grateful for the care and attention we received.
Thank you so much, Dr. Conteh and team. We truly appreciate you and look forward to continuing our cats’ care with you in the future
