This place is a HUGE scam. Years ago I went to get some work done on my iPhone 13 mini. Not only did they hold onto it for months, but once I got it back I couldn’t do basic things like hear anyone I’m calling outside if Bluetooth, or even use the manual volume controls. When I brought it to them and asked to fix it, they were going to charge me an extra $200 to fix the problems THEY caused. After having a yelling match with the belligerent desk attendant (including being accused that I was the one who broke the phone), I gave up and got a new phone.
Fast forward to 2026, after I moved to another city and asked someone more reputable to see what’s going on with the one I had “fixed”. They opened it and found the people at Rideau Cell Plus used “shitty parts and absolutely shitty workmanship.” (His words). He proceeded to show me photos (enclosed in this review) of their work, where there are plenty of missing screws, cable panels are missing, even leaving the shipping film on the shitty replacement screen they used - this was after paying them nearly four hundred dollars!
DO NOT GO HERE! These people are con artists and will make your phone unusable through either incompetence, cheapness or most likely both!
