Dr. Shao is very experienced and great acupuncturist. I have been going to her for couple of years and she cured my pinched nerve after few time of acupuncture. I brought my daughter to her with acne that kept spreading on her back and the treatments are amazing. She is a teenager and I didn’t want her to go on medication. Acupuncture is a great alternative that works magic. I highly recommend Dr. Shao.
This has been an amazing journey ! Yiyan has been able to get my mobility back after four sessions ! A frozen shoulder as a result of a hockey injury. Yoga, chiropratic & drugs all had little effect. After a year and a half (I am 62) I thought that this would be a lifetime issue. Yiyan has a unique approach - through manipulation & stretching you help guide the needle placement and the results are miraculous !!
I have been using acupuncture for a long time to improve the body and have been to several doctors not only in Ontario, but also in other countries. But I settled on Shao's Acupuncture and Wellness. I am very glad that I got to Dr. Yiyan Xue. Already after the first procedure, I felt a significant improvement. The doctor took an integrated approach and a set of procedures. And all this was directed to my specific problem, unlike other specialists who use general treatment regimens.
