    Was good until it was not…

    Fantastic service and very organized dispatch and feedback at all points. Pleasantly surprised. Outdoor wall outlet was fixed and is now up to code. Will recommend highly.

    Update 1 month later:

    I picked Mr Electric as this company seemed to be very knowledgeable with outdoor electric setups that require weather proofing. My GFCI outlet would trip during intense rainfalls or snowfalls due to moisture getting into it. I am not very well versed in that area of discipline and chose to have a seasoned professional to provide a solution that would fit the application.

    In my case, we have pets and their livelihood depends in the operation of various equipment in their enclosure. I made it clear that this outlet was critical and that those power interruptions were a big problem.

    The outlet was serviced by other electricians in the past but they failed to do a good job and that caused issues. The electrician from Mr Electric confirmed that the work that was done was not up to standard and that he would make sure it was done properly.

    I was advised that some of my existing hardware I had already purchased (the outlet and cover) were a little worn but were still viable for at least 3 maybe 7 years. He said he would seal the outlet completely so moisture would stay out. He mentioned that the aluminum siding of my residence had moisture that was getting into the outlet area. I should have caught on right there.

    Namely that is why i came to this company to have an outlet that would be sealed and operational without replacing the house.

    So last night there was light rain and the GFCI outlet tripped in the evening. But unlike previous occasions, I could not reset the outlet to return power. Obviously this was a big problem to us.

    Upon alerting the company of my situation, I was informed that this was entirely my problem and I would need to book another appointment to replace everything. Frankly if that was what was required, why was this not strongly suggested in the first place. I have adjusted my rating. Customer beware.

    Update 2: there was no strong recommendation of not using the existing equipment but there was mention of years of service however the siding I’m sure had some blame I’m sure. I would recommend that in future visits, no time frame estimates for worn equipment be issued. Due to the fact that this work was performed just a month ago and confidently stated that it would hold up for a matter of years, it would have been nice to be offered some sort of deal but none was extended. Simply a not our fault and feel free to book another service call. This does not match your slogan of doing things right the first time. Being in the field of customer service for 3 decades affords me some experience. I’m not impressed.

    Davor & Miro did major work on my home’s electrical system upgrading our amp service and doing several electrical installations. Very professional, on time and priced fairly. Additionally their business is family owned and generational. I highly recommend these guys, in fact I have already booked them for a second project. Definitely my go to electricians!

    Very knowledgeable and professional. Seems a bit expensive but not sure what it would have cost. And for piece of mind, its probably worth it!

    Had a great experience with Mr. Electric installing a pipe heat trace. Booking was easy and fast, and the electrician went above and beyond to make sure existing related fixtures were up to code and that everything in a weird old house worked properly. Work was clearly communicated and quoted ahead of time.
    This was the first company I called and I got super lucky!

    Miro was exceptional he came to my home twice to service a few things before my move. Punctual, friendly and he got the job done in a timely manner. If I need any electrical work done in the future I will be requesting Miro

    Great experience. Miro was amazing; he did an excellent job. Something else to call out that was above and beyond was that one of our neighbours was dealing with an electrical problem that just came up, and after he completed my job, he was able to go over there and assist them. I’ll definitely use him again in a future project.

    Was a GC for a client out in Port Credit had the pleasure of using Mr.Electric for my electricans on this project, very knownledgable easy to work with gentlemen. Miro and Dave were excellent in their attitude and professionalism and how they handled themselves always happy to support local.

    Very, very disappointed. Had scheduled appointment with them Dec. 23/25 between 2-4, confirmed by email and text. No one showed up, no calls, no text nothing. Called the office at 4:30 to find out when they were coming, office closed. Called head office, said would find out what happened and take care of it right away, put me on the emergency list because I had a scheduled appointment. CRICKETS!!!! Called office first thing 8:00am this morning, answering machine says IT’S A GREAT DAY AT ME ELECTRIC (yeah I don’t think so)tells me to stay on the line all operators are currently busy and my call will be answered soon. Then message goes to voicemail box that of course is full and tells me if I am calling for service to call the same dam number I just called. I was a first time customer, needless to say I won’t ever call again. Have called another company and coming today at 10:00am. Wish they had 0 stars, that’s how disappointed and frustrated I am.

    Technician was friendly and did his job he even arrived early which I can appreciate. I am selling my home and he came to make sure that the electrical box was up to code which it was. He even made sure to call his office to verify exactly what he needed to inspect which was great
