Going to Taz Hair Company London has always been a natural choice for me for hairstyles, updos, and makeup for special events. What I hadn’t realized until recently, though, was how wonderful regular cut and colour appointments at this salon could be. ✨

I recently had my first cut and colour with Thelma, and I’ll admit I was a little nervous. I had been with the same stylist for nearly 20 years, and change is never easy. But the moment I sat in Thelma’s chair, all my worries melted away. Her warmth, professionalism, and expertise immediately put me at ease, and I felt complete trust and confidence in her talent.

I left with a fresh, beautiful cut and colour, feeling pampered, renewed, and uplifted. The vibe of this salon is truly one of a kind.

Thelma is not only incredibly skilled, but also kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about her craft. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares about their clients and the experience they provide. Her assistant was equally lovely, making the entire visit feel effortless, relaxing, and enjoyable.

Ever since I started leaving some length to my hair, I've been seeking a stylist who has the right blend of style consultation and specialization with men's hair... polished and clean like the lines of a barber, while maintaining the length and flow I'm looking for. I found Jamie Mitchell-Hegedus on Instagram and noticed some very stylish men's cuts she'd done, so decided to check her out. I was blown away with my style - easily the best first-time haircut I've ever had. I look forward to returning for future cuts and evolving this style with her guidance. She gave a thorough consultation to understand just what I was looking for for vibe, and interpreted it with her creativity to make it even more stylish than I had imagined. I am thoroughly impressed.

I walked into my appointment feeling genuinely nervous. I have always been so specific about my blonde, and after past experiences it is not something I take lightly. Then I met Thelma, and everything changed. From the very first moment she made me feel completely heard. She asked all the right questions, really listened to what I was saying, and took the time to understand not just what I wanted but why it mattered to me.

Nothing felt rushed or brushed off. It was thoughtful, intentional, and rooted in care.

I am leaving my appointment feeling confident not only externally but internally too, which is something truly special. Thelma is a beautiful human who so clearly loves what she does, and it shows in every part of her work and the way she treats people. Her assistant was also so nice and kept checking in on me - that made me feel good.

I’ve been coming to this salon for about a year now, and I can honestly say my hair has never looked better. Jamie is an absolute gem of a stylist – she has this incredible ability to nail my color every single time, and I trust her completely when she suggests what cut would work best for me. She doesn’t just execute what I ask for; she has the expertise to guide me toward styles that truly flatter.

Since I started seeing her, I’ve received so many compliments on my hair – more than ever before. It’s clear she has both the technical skill and the artistic eye to bring out the best in her clients.
If you’re looking for a stylist who really knows their craft and will make you feel confident about your hair, I can’t recommend Jamie enough!

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I felt I needed to share my experience based on the final result—especially after paying over $350.

I had asked specifically for a cool blonde balayage, explaining that I do not like yellow at all and wanted something that would grow out softly. Unfortunately, my hair turned out a yellowish-grey tone, which leaves it looking dull—almost as if I have grey, smoker-toned hair rather than the icy blonde I showed in photos.

Additionally, I asked for a balayage technique so that my natural roots could grow in seamlessly, but what I received looks much more like streaky highlights rather than a blended balayage. She did camouflage my reddish ends, which I appreciated.

Overall, I’m very disappointed in the final result, as it’s not what I asked for at all.

Got my hair done today by Destiny Debert and it looks fantastic. Each time I go we switch it up and it looks amazing ever time… I highly recommend going to her you will love her and love your hair thanks again destiny :)
