Great gym and awesome place to train. No nonsense and the people are friendly. It has everything you need to make gains and the Owner is an awesome dude who supports other local business!
This is one of the friendliest and most enjoyable gyms I have ever been to in my life. The gym reminds me of the bar in the TV show Cheers ‘where everybody knows your name’. There is constant smiles, laughter and encouragement from the members and staff. The owner, Adam Deschenes is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, and will always help you out and answer questions about achieving your fitness goals.
I switched to this gym because the freeweights at planet fitness were not heavy enough on some basic exercises and I felt I couldn’t get a good workout.

My partner and I started at The Spec last year (2025) because it’s so close to our house. We soon realized this gym has friendly staff, is clean and the selection of weights/machines/anything work out related is huge!!! I feel comfortable as someone trying to get back in shape, never feel judged and just welcomed by people who go here. Im happy they are in the process of making change rooms, and I am very grateful for the women only space! The entire gym is a safe and fitness-forward space, the owner is awesome, and we highly recommend anyone looking for a gym!
