Amanda came out to Whitby to do my hair this weekend for my wedding. She did an absolutely amazing job and the rest of my bridal party also loved her. So happy she could be a part of my special day.

Amanda is a blonde magician!! I commend her for her ability to push through, while going through personal health issues, she is empathetic, integral and one hell of a hair stylist and colorist. I have fine blonde hair, and she gets me light no brass and, I love the fun cuts.
She has been a huge supporter through my intimate partner trauma, it's like seeing a therapist and a hair dresser!!
seen some reviews on fb and think people should cut some slack, you don't know what's happening until you walk a mile in their shoes. She made leaps and bounds, and her work is genius .. and throwing mean comments at someone doesn't help someone with anxiety...it selves people into a darker level of depression.

I have fine thin hair....so obviously I want blonde...Amanda gets me the white blonde I want NO YELLOW, without breaking my hair, and reminding me slow and steady and proper hair care and products will get me what I want. I trust my fine few hairs in her capable hands.. I trust her advise... she is a blonde wizard... I love the new home salon!! Professional, clean and cozy! I admit..I'm a picky and fussy client and she nails it everytime.
As a make up artist, we have also worked together professionally and I have seen the creative genius that comes alive in her wedding updo's. especially when someone says just do whatever!! Had such an amazing experience tonight with Amanda! I had been nervous to get a haircut because I had a few bad experiences in the past. So I hadn’t got a haircut in years. But she made me feel so welcome and went above and beyond with her service making sure I was happy before I left. And I am beyond words with how it turned out. She knows what she’s doing! I’m thrilled to share my experience with Amanda! I found her on Instagram while searching for a hairstylist for my August wedding, and after hearing from friends about her incredible talent and warm personality, I knew I’d found the right person.
For my first appointment, Amanda gave me a stunning cut and balayage—I was amazed by her artistry! I booked a second appointment to finalize my wedding look, and she truly brought my vision to life. I left her salon feeling so excited and confident.
On my wedding day, Amanda was phenomenal. She styled nine of us, including both Moms, and effortlessly pulled off eight on-the-spot hairstyles with complete ease and perfection. We all felt so special and beautiful, and everyone was beyond thrilled with their look. Amanda even left her hairspray so my Hollywood curls would last the entire day in the heat—and they did!
I've attached a few pictures from the wedding, as well as a couple of balayages Amanda has done for me since. One of the shots was even taken at night, and her work still looks incredible! Amanda is now my go-to for everything hair, and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. Her balayage and bridal styling skills are unmatched, and she has a unique gift for making each person feel amazing. It’s very seldom nowadays to find a hairdresser that actually listens to what you want. I love Amanda at the Hair Lounge. I’ve been going to her for years and will continue to get my hair done by her for years to come. She is absolutely one of the most talented hairdressers I’ve ever met. Not every hairdresser knows how to cut curly hair or highlight to the perfect shade of blonde. She is definitely a master of her craft. I’m truly lucky to have found her.
