DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY -- THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS!!! I've never written a review before but this was an extreme scenario. We are first time homebuyers and our toilet broke shortly after moving in. We only have 1 bathroom in the house so we needed someone to come immediately. Superior plumbing sent a plumber who looked at the toilet and said he wouldn't be able to replace it on site because there was a small crack in the hole (not sure what it's called). He left and they sent out a new person a few hours later. The new person noticed an (old) watermark on the ceiling in our dining room and said they would need to rip out the walls and ceiling and replace all of the pipes. They quoted us $4,500 for all that work. We were terrified but tried to get our finances together, all the while having to drive to a tim hortons each time we had to go to the bathroom. The next day, they sent a third plumber, who WAS NOT WEARING A SUPERIOR PLUMBING UNIFORM and said he is not associated with them but was simply contracted out (he had an apprentice with him as well). He replaced the toilet and fixed the small crack with a repair kit in 15 mins. He said he had no idea what they were talking about in needing to replace all the pipes but that was not needed. We were so relieved until Superior sent us a bill for the full quoted $4,500. I called them to say we didn't need to do all that work so that needed to be taken off the invoice. They only knocked off $1000...sent back another made up invoice claiming that the repair kit (which took 15 mins) and toilet replacement (typically $150-400) cost $3,500. I don't think the first 2 people they sent were even plumbers-- just people to generate fear and build up a big bill before sending in an actual plumber who they probably paid $2-400 for the job. Unbelievable. IT IS WORTH THE WAIT TO FIND A RELIABLE PLUMBER-- I'd recommend Cornerstone in Guelph. They are honest and reliable.

If zero stars were an option... We called superior because our toilet was gurgling and slow to empty/refill. They diagnosed the problem as a blockage and quoted $800-$1200. It would be $800 for snaking the drain and $1200 if they had to move to step two and remove the toilet to use the auger it would be $1200. This pricing seems steep but my partner agreed. They came, they "fixed" the problem, two days later the same thing is happening. They came and snaked the drain again in response to us having paid $1200 and having no results. Now we are having these issues in both of washrooms instead of one, again 2 days later. I mean $1200 is beyond going rate to begin with, but to quote the solution wrong, twice and still not have the problem rectified is unacceptable. On top of all this we have requested our bill be corrected 3 times since our name is spelt incorrectly and we still have not received an updated invoice. Superior indicates they have a warranty on their work, but what good is a warranty when the only thing they guarantee is price gouging with no results?

I recently had Sean from Superior Plumbing & Heating provide a service for me. He installed a new pump in my rental Property for the laundry tub , he was quick to show me how it worked and was very professional and pleasant. Votre technicien Farid était poli,discret et très efficace. Il a réparé un tuyau qui coulait sous mon évier de cuisine et installé une nouvelle toilette parce que l’ancienne coulait. Le tout a été fait le jour même que j’ai demandé le service. J’ai été un peu surprise par le coût. Je ne savais pas que les services d’un plombier était aussi dispendieux.
