The dentists and hygienists are skilled and take the time to explain treatments and procedures, ensuring that patients are comfortable and informed throughout their visit. However, there was a complaint about one hygienist who seemed cold and unresponsive, which caused anxiety for a patient with a fear of the dentist. The front desk staff could also improve their communication and interaction with patients, particularly when it comes to billing and explaining treatments. Overall, Courtyard Plaza Shopping Center is a good facility with a variety of services and dining options. The majority of the businesses and staff provide helpful and kind service, making it a recommended destination for those in need of dental care, haircuts, or a relaxing spa day.
Date night so, I took my fiance to Billy Sims BBQ restaurant and had a good time. Food was off the chain and the two young men that work there was very polite. You looking for some good barbecue Billy Sims off of Northwest expressway.
good clean facility, parking lot needs to be redone (bumpy), majority of the people even in different suites are very helpful and kind I've been in three different ones all for business and all were nice
I called Gentle Dental and spoke with the office manager, who was very nice, compassionate, she took concern for the dental pain I was in. The dentist was booked but she made me a slot, asked me to be there 15 minutes early, very transparent that dentist is booked, and orthodontists doctor was in, very busy but they'll get me seen. She would be in a meeting but would come meet me after the meeting. When I arrived I was greeted by the orthodontist receptionist who was as sweet as can be, check in was easy. Even being "worked" in, I was called back before I finished filling out the paperwork, the hygienist was very sweet. Dr. Montgomery came in, looked at the tooth causing pain, immediately numbed me to get me out of pain, while I waited for X-rays, treatment plan, etc. The officer manager stopped in after her meeting to introduce herself, make sure everything was okay just as she told me on the phone. When Dr. Montgomery was ready he grabbed another hygienist, after he was done, I set up, sat on the chair for a little bit, hygienist didn't say anything I just watched her work on the computer, I removed the dental fabric, blanket, tried to talk to the hygienist who seemed rather cold/judgmental which causes more anxiety on someone who has a fear of then dentist and just wants to leave. I continued to sit there and listen to the repeated clicking, I asked to go to the front and she asked what for, to pay my bill, I thought to myself I have no clue what your doing over there. She told me no she had to finish, .. finish what? When I was brought to the front the treatment amount increased approx $42 for an exam that wasn't on the treatment I signed, I inquired why it wasn't on there, receptionist requested my file, new patient paperwork, there ended up being a second treatment with only the exam I believe on it that was not signed, nor did anyone discuss with me. Receptionist approach was "well it's a fee we have to charge regardless if it's in the treatment plan or not.." I'm not sure if she expected to have 2 signatures on two treatment plans, and that would validate it? I asked to speak with the office manager, after 5-10 minutes she came up front, explained my insurance didn't cover "exam", but they do cover comprehensive exam, which she billed for, which made treatment less then what I signed for. That made me happy, I appreciated the office managers time, she found a solution to the billing problem. The billing errors wouldn't have affected my rating, probably would have gotten 5 stars. What I disliked most what how the second hygienist treated me. I do not like feeling judged, and seeing that I have a fear huge fear of the dentist, having me sit in a seat with no explanation on how long I have to sit there, or any type of interaction just a cold short attitude, I don't like that. I hate feeling judged, and do not want to around someone who does not want to interact with patients. I treat people how I want to be treated and expect the same in return. In the end, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Montgomery, and the first hygienist, they were absolutely amazing, nice, compassionate , the office manager as well, she cares about patients new or existing.
