Not a big box store shopper but needed some 4x4 white ceramic tile for a DIY coaster project. They had the best price around at .11 cents each. Just picked up a case of 100 which makes it easier to handle. Was having a hard time finding them and I asked for some help. It took us a few minutes to locate them but finally. Then it's self checkout which I don't care for but there was a nice young lady there to greet me and tell me if I needed any help just holler. All went good and she thanked me for coming. Over all good experience.

by now we're all used to these stores being understaffed, that's corporate and you can't really blame the local employees for that. Yesterday I had to ask 5 different people over the course of half an hour to buy a tool, which I partly blame on corporate intentional short staffing. The comical part was the bickering between employees over petty store sidework. At one point an employee with sleeve tatts (from the lumber department?) literally stopped another employee on his way to get a tool for me, to bicker at him about store busywork, THEN when that employee had my actual tool in his hands, he stopped short of giving it to me, because the same guy was bickering at him AGAIN. He's just standing there, holding the tool I've been waiting half an hour to buy, listening to the first guy bicker again. At one point I'm standing there waiting to get this tool and I watch 3 employees squabble over a roller cart of boxes that need to be reshelved...all while I'm trying to spend money in the store.

Dear Customer care, I am deeply disappointed by the discriminatory and rude behavior of the cashier Doris at The Home Depot in Midwest City, OK, located at 1600 S. Sooner Rd., on June 30, 2024, at 10:53 a.m. Doris was not only incompetent and rough but also exhibited sharp and dismissive behavior towards me simply because of my skin color. I believe The Home Depot is committed to serving all customers equally, regardless of their race or ethnicity. Doris refused to scan items with barcodes facing her and insisted I should know the prices instead of looking them up in the system. This is not acceptable customer service. Despite being a paying customer, I was treated with disrespect and inequality. It's particularly disheartening that Doris, who herself is black, would engage in discriminatory behavior. As a result of this negative experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere, where I am treated with dignity and fairness. Respectfully, I am a customer of yours for 30 years, spending a significant amount every week, which you do not want to lose due to Doris' discrimination based on my skin color and her incompetence as a cashier.

Female clerk at customer service was extremely rude and unhelpful. Did not smile, and was not friendly. I don't know what happened bc I have used this store before when I built a house and had no issues with outright rudeness. I am building again and this is the closest Home Depot but I will not be using this store. I have a feeling she lied to me as well. They lost a customer and ten of thousands in sales.
