Wonderful facility with great training staff. Not only offers training but also holds sanctioned agility trials. Perfect for anxious rescue dogs like my girl who gained confidence and now competes and loves the sport!

If you are looking to compete to win in agility and your dog already has a firm grasp of obedience before you begin (though PDS says they don't require these things) then you might benefit from classes here. DO NOT BOTHER GETTING ON THE WAITING LIST OTHERWISE. Creating champions is where PDS excels, apparently. We'll never know; we were essentially dismissed by the owner when we and/or our dog didn't meet expectations as quickly as PDS wants. It was made very clear to us they have a long waiting list (we know; we waited on the list for months) and they are anxious to churn through students. The only thing I can guess is that they are able to charge higher rates for more advanced classes, so if you aren't up to par and can't move UP, they will do what they need to, to move you OUT - ASAP. You may get up to three months of lessons before they will start the culling. For those who are truly new to agility, please be aware that after some introductory lessons, your dog will spend the majority of the lessons in his/her crate (required) while the other dogs take their turns in the arena learning equipment. We had 6 dogs in our class which meant that our dog got 10 minutes of training during the hour long class.

Our experience at Pinnacle Dog Sports left a sour taste due to a lack of decorum, and professionalism. The worker at the time showed a level of condescension and pretentiousness that can be, unfortunately, associated with these activities, but in this case was proved true. She also had a small dog immediately outside the training area, that barked the whole time, despite being informed that we would be the only dogs there during the time slot. I recommend finding an alternative with better staff.
