RainSoft product not worth it. 7 months in and I have problems that canβt be remedied. Salesman gave us his cell and said to call for any issues. Placed at numerous calls and text messages and never heard back. Donβt believe a RainSoft salesperson. I would never buy RainSoft products again. On a positive, Great Lakes customer service are the nicest. Deedee, Ana and service tech Brad, I would definitively give them credit.
And there is a $300 charge every time they service for filters. Which was never mentioned when they call you repeatedly to service your product

What a great company from the sales person to the installer to the technician who came out after the fact and explained everything to me to the financing this company was above power. If I could give it a scale on one to five I would give it a 20 and the system is phenomenal too. My water taste better. My skin feels better. My complexion looks better very very happy customer.

The show and presentation is greatβ¦ what they donβt tell you is that if you donβt pay upfront for it, they use Preferred Credit and lock you in at an 11.99% interested rate that accrues DAILY. So youβll have a sweet water system that costs $9500β¦ but will cost you $30K by the time you pay it off. Product works fine, if you can pay for it go ahead.. stay away from there βawesome financing optionβ

Horrible experience. They came out and would only test the water if all resident adults were home and available to watch the testing. How rude and an insult to the customer. Obviously they were setting up a horse and pony show. Since one of the adults was working and could not be present, the girl just left. Disgusting and unprofessional. They do not tell you that when they schedule the appointment. So be ready to have your intelligence insulted and your time wasted.

The people. Horrendous. Dan sold me on the system, he was the regional manager. where the problem began, that I didn't catch at first. Dan was giving ranges of payments , not a direct number a RANGE.it was late didn't think anything of it expected a call from him the next day with a number. WRONG. If your credit is as high as you say theres zero problem getting your payments around 127.00 a month. Highest he gave us was around the 160's a month called the owner and even got the removal of my old system waived.. VERY persistent they could come the next day to install. They were back to install this system within less than 24 hours, on a Friday. When they arrived, I still did not know how much my payment was. An had no points of real contact aside from Dan the salesman. Installer was unable to finish the install on Friday, said they'd be back Monday and someone would call me Monday to arrange it. Nothing on Monday. Tuesday Dan reached out via text an asked if they could come that day I said yes and gave them a time frame I would be home. That didn't work for them. Dan wanted me to have someone there by 1-1:30 I said I could probably pull some strings and do that he thanked me. Well that time comes around, and passes, around id say 5:30 the same tech showed up. To finish the install. I was HEATED, He was about to tear my kitchen apart to add the system under the sink, when I was starting dinner for the house. He said he'd work the furnace first as I also got that system. He couldn't get the furnace said his boss would be there later to check his work anyways and he'd see if he could get it. He was there till almost 9pm. His boss never showed. Next day around 5pm here comes his boss Ken. No warning he was coming no call no nothing. He got the furnace installed. still not a single word on how much my payment was. Ken was finally able to give me a number it was 172 give or take. I said absolutely not.. that wasn't even in the range Dan gave me. He called Dan. They spoke and agreed it was wrong. So ken said I'll get with Ana and get this fixed we will call you. days pass I call Dan again and ask what is going on. He's upset I have been tossed around like this again this isn't how we do business. Fast forward more days getting real close to when my first payment is due and I still dont know how much it is. Ana finally calls me. We so I thought got everything figured out. On the phone she gave me a number of 153.00 monthly this was 4 days before my payment was due. I said that number was better at least it was within the range I was given okay. I asked her if we could push the payment out to July since this was just finally getting handled. She said she'd speak to PCI They'd call me. thought we had everything squared away. PCI called and said 159 and some change I said uh no it was 153. I said I'll call. Thinking maybe a typo. Now Ana is trying to tell me everything I have wrote down is 159 I said then why were you telling me 153 on the phone. I have it written down several places 153 a month 9.9% with 1.2 payment she kept correcting me 1.25% no thats not what you said Friday. I told her I see what game they are playing they are leaving your house with a range of payments hustling to install and raising up payments and since its already in theres not much you can do. I told her I dont know what games they are playing but I was over it an bout ready to tell them to come get their system out my house. She said so we're not accepting this 6 dollar and change difference I said THATS NOT THE POINT. if I was told 153 thats what it is. Not 155 not 157 not 159. You guys just keep going up and up after you give a lower number. She said she'd have abe(owner/distributor) call me tomorrow as, he's not in today. DO NOT spend your money here. Also took them a month to remove my old system ( two tanks and a salt bin) because it'd take two people. Took one as he waited for ken who was late.. just dont do it. Its not worth all the run around.
