Was my first time taking my cat to the vet as she was having vaginal discharge. She was diagnosed with Pyometra and I was charged $366 for the initial visit including antibiotics as well as a sedative to give her as she needed emergency surgery. The doctors were offputting and made me feel guilty for my cat being ill. I was quoted $1470 for the surgery and denied by both of the financial assistance programs they accept, Scratchpay and CareCredit. Thankfully, I was blessed enough to have a friend who could help cover this expense. This friend also happened to breed cats for a living for many years. I sent them the breakdown of the bill and they were appalled to say the least. I took my baby to another home vet located in Fostoria and paid only $203. When I heard such a price difference I was astonished though weary that the other place might not perform as well. My cat is home now safely and the surgery went perfectly. Do not pay these people’s insane prices or let them guilt you into doing it. I’m extremely thankful I had an outsider to look into this for me as I was so scared for my cat I just agreed to everything they said she would need. The vet I went to was the Fostoria Pet Hospital if anyone else finds themselves in such a scary and sad situation. No one deserves to be manipulated into giving away they’re savings because they love their animal.

Beware of this money sucking so-called vet. It doesn't matter what the reason is for your visit...it will cost you $300. They sent me a prescription for his heartworm meds and I found it is much cheaper than their pharmacy on my Chewy account but they refused to allow me to buy it elsewhere without paying another $20. Your pet to them is nothing more than money in their pockets. Bedside manner is absolutely terrible because all they do is try to sell you more even when your pet is healthy. Please...go elsewhere....or you will be had, too.

Love the new doctor, she explains everything in a way I understand, takes all the time we need and isn't afraid to get down on the floor to examine my dog. So grateful Dr. Chiu came onboard!
