About University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center

Lake Health/University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center is a nice place. The staff are courteous, professional, very nice, and kind. They are always both professional and personal, giving the extra mile. Patients report one of the best experiences with the doctors and staff, who listen. However, parking can be confusing, leading to wrong places. An issue was noted regarding a service dog in the infusion center, though an apology was given. The center is highly recommended for treatments and care.

It's a nice place.

I would have given it 5 stars, but the head nurse in the infusion center gave me hell about my service dog.

She did call and apologize numerous times for doing so. However, it was more out of desperation than because she wanted to.

It's a bit more what one expects when going to a health center. The staff are courteous and professional. Be mindful to know exactly where you're going as otherwise you will park in the wrong place & not be able to find or get where you need to be.

I go in for port flushes and blood tests every 6 weeks. Used to go for Chemotherapy treatments. They are always both professional and personal. They always give the extra mile for you. Highly recommend.
