I love this studio, they do not disappoint when it comes to having the best nails! Whenever I have an inspo pic, they almost match it SPOT ON. 10/10 recommend to anyone in the area.

I went here about two weeks ago for a shellac manicure for a wedding. The manicurist was very good, I love my nails and they've lasted two weeks no chipping or issues. Pricey but it's worth it.

I am so disappointed in my experience with Stella & Shay after a friend recommended them. My manicurist was extremely friendly and sweet and my manicure was beautiful. I won't deny that. Unfortunately, one of my gel nails chipped and fell off before the 24-hour mark. FYI, gel manicures usually last about two weeks for me. I was on vacation so I reached out to the manicurist on social media to give her the feedback and all I got was a "That should NOT have happened." I called the salon hoping they would be a little more apologetic and the person that answered was extremely cold and unhelpful. I told her that I basically didn't have a manicure anymore and she responded, "Umm, you definitely still have a manicure." She said I could get a 50% refund or could come in when I was back to have them fixed. I knew they would have been grown out by that time - little did I know, they would all peel off before the end of my trip. I guess I was looking for either a full refund or a free manicure since I had spent $70 and left a very generous tip but apparently they don't really care about customer retention. Save your money and go to The Beauty Room in Tremont. They do a fantastic job at a better price point. And everyone is super friendly. The woman that works the front desk at Stella & Shay is extremely cold.

Don't waste your time or money. I got the Apres gel extentions and also builder gel on another visit, both cost over $90 each and they only lasted one week. They also did not shape my nails in the square shape I asked for, instead they are ovals. Overpriced and poor quality.

I purchased two groupons for services with Tara Vargo at $23 each for a total of $46. When I got my hair cut and colored, I presented my groupon which was worth $45 then I was charged an additional $180 -- she said her cuts and colors are $225 - I have a groupon still to use but will not go back - way too expensive for a color and cut for the services received. This is the second time I have been burned by Groupon - I am not sure I will use Groupon again for this type of service.

Had my hair cut by Elaine - first time going to this location & her. My hair is a blunt lob. Best haircut of my life! It lays perfectly and looks amazing. Highly recommend her if you’re a short hair girl looking for a good cut, trendy short hair style without looking like a “‘mom cut”

My wife highly recommended this place... she's been here several times.. Saved our reservation with a credit card... per POLICY.. you need a 24 hour notice to cancel... I understand people are incredibly rude... we have friends in this business... last thing we would ever do is screw someone over... I am a nurse... exposed to COVID... with symptoms. Rapid test is positive and additional test is pending... we simply wanted to reschedule for safety reasons... being courteous. Spoke with the "manager", who said MY BOSS says this is policy. I was charged 50%... $92.50 for my less than 24 hour notice, AND... I need to reschedule... I get policy... and rules, but your flexibility here would have made a world of difference. I will try to contact the "BOSS", chances are... I'll get no where. Not exactly best practice here, folks. Zero compassion... not a place I recommend at ALL. 0/10... I'd avoid this salon, way better options in this area! INCREDIBLY POOR customer service

I adore it here. Such a beautiful relaxing space and the best talent in the area. Meredith does the most amazing nail art and Elaine takes the best care of my hair, cut and color always looks amazing. Book in advance, it's sort of hard to get in, but worth it!Services: Shampoo & conditioning
