I did not at all have a positive experience with this place. My dog and I spent over 4 hours here for him to be given pain meds and a Lyme test. He went home and got worse the next day. I spent $600 in the emergency room just to be in worse situation than before. When I called them to ask for help, it was going to be another 175 just to be seen again. No care,no real concern just give us more money. I had spent my emergency funds to come there because I thought they could at least give him some relief but I deeply regret coming here. They do very little for very high costs then leave you high and dry and in distress. I would not recommend this emergency room

This emergency pet hospital is awesome. I’ve taken both my dogs here for emergencies, always great compassion. 2 years ago they saved my one dogs life by doing emergency surgery on him. He spent 2 nights there, they were awesome to him and us. Highly recommend!

We have had to visit Metro twice with different dogs. Each time the care and support we received has been excellent. Most recently, we used their emergency services for our 11yo Basset Hound with sudden hind end lameness. Treatment options were discussed and explained. We went with a more conservative treatment plan. Dr. CC never made us feel judged. She wasn't pushy and supported us in our decision. Our old boy is doing much better! I would absolutely trust them with caring for our animals!

Our dog had to spend five nights in the ICU and we were obviously distraught and confused, but the fabulous team at Metropolitan made a world of difference. Every single employee we interacted with treated us with such kindness and compassion- and that can make a world of difference when you’re experiencing a crisis in your family. We cannot thank the team enough for all they’ve done for our boy.

I am so grateful for the Metropolitan Veterinary team and how compassionate and caring they are. We've used their ER, Orthopedic and Oncology specialists to care for our Golden Doodle over the past year. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for ER or Specialty care for their pet. Dr. Brown in Oncology was phenomenal to work with. Thank you to the entire staff from Summer and her family!
