Dr Lao and his team was OUTSTANDING and including the nurse who put the IV in my arm, she was AWESOME!! I'm looking forward to getting my other hand done and return.

Great facility, but scheduling and available hours is a little rough.

The experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. The nurses, anesthesia, and even the receptionist were extremely helpful and kind. Dr. Farrow did an amazing job and answered all of our questions. I can not say enough good things about all of the amazing staff that helped with my daughterβs surgery today. π€

Came in with my father for a PET scan. This was his second one. His first was at Hillcrest hospital. Unlike at Hillcrest, we weren't allowed to sit together. They placed him in a "gowned waiting" room stating that he was now injected with the radioactive dye therefore he couldn't be around me. Such stupid BS. They also made him remove his continuous glucose monitor here at this location unlike at Hillcrest. He's never had to remove it for all other CT scans which are hardly different from PET. The nurses didn't assist with removal of the glucose monitor - a medical device! I had to do it - in the "gowned waiting" room where they were supposed to be isolated because of the radioactive dye! They have no problem with me being in contact with my father immediately after they injected him so I could remove the device rather than the nurses. This is not the appropriate way of treating patients and families. Just because this place deals with sports injury doesn't mean that people aren't here to deal with some serious issues such as cancer. I'm literally sitting 15 - 20 feet from my father, who is sitting in a room with no door. I can see him from where I'm sitting and these people think it makes any difference at all to separate us? This is absolute nonsense!

The receptionist for radiology is lazy, rude, and plain stupid. Winded from walking a few steps to the gowns next to her. Gave me attitude while out of breath because I gave her my name before she was "sitted down". Her dumb*** words, not mine. Crazy they let any idiot with no common knowledge in the medical industry now.

Had outpatient surgery today with the ambulatory surgery center. Nurses were phenomenal, anesthesiologist listed to my worries and made sure he took extra care with me. Did a block prior to the OR and talked though the entire procedure and made sure I was comfortable, block was so good that I came out of surgery not needing any pain meds whatsoever. Staff in the OR were caring and made sure I knew everything happening, down to the anesthesia going in the IV. PACU nurse was the same as pre op, which made it more comfortable as she knew all about me. I was in and out in 4 hours, and I am still pain free from the block..
