I recently had DeMarco Roofing replace the roof and repair the box gutters on my historic 1898 home. Jason was quick to come out and provide an estimate. He was extremely knowledgeable about box gutters and what is required for the historic approval process. Crew showed up as scheduled, worked late, and finished the job much quicker than I thought they would. Any issues were promptly addressed. I would highly recommend DeMarco Roofing for your roofing and gutter needs, especially if you have an old house. Most places don’t have the knowledge to work on a historic building like DeMarco Roofing does. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

DeMarco recently completed a complicated roofing project on our 1911 foursquare in Columbus. The project involved repairing and tuckpointing chimneys, replacing decking, replacing asphalt shingles on the second floor and large wrap-around porch, replacing rotted trim on two dormers, painting the replaced wood trim, as well as completely rebuilding our second floor box gutters, starting with sistering rafter tails and then rebuilding them from the soffit trim to the membrane lining.
All other companies that I contacted would not work on box gutters, some suggesting that they be covered with plywood and replaced with standard, less efficient aluminum gutters. Demarco has decades of experience with box gutters and they valued the historic details of the house.
As work progressed, the scope of the work increased because of the age of the house and poor care by previous owners. We were promptly informed of any changes necessary and the estimated cost.
The crews were all professional and hardworking, and they did everything they could to protect the landscaping that fills our small city lot.
Questions and concerns and all were responded to promptly and professionally. Photos were provided of areas not visible from the ground.
The end-product is as beautiful as it is functional.

DeMarco replaced the box gutters, soffits, and porch roof on our 100 year old house. They were extremely detailed in their estimate and got done on time and on budget. His crews were all great and cleaned up the yard during & after the project was completed. Demarco has done several projects on our 100 + years old home over the past 2 years. We replaced the roof on house, 3 porches and a garage and rebuilt box gutters on entire house. We found issues along the way - rotten boards, improper previous engineering,etc. Jason was upfront on issues , options and pricing. Also, our front porch was unstable and needed a complete rebuild which they quickly addressed. We were able to get fiberglass pillars on front porch that look like wood but will be much more durable. The craftsmanship on the box gutters is amazing. Crews showed up, worked hard and finished our jobs timely. If there were issues, Jason addressed them timely and professionally.

I’ve had DeMarco do several projects including copper restoration. They have been fantastic to respond and do other repairs. They make helpful suggestions and understand restoration.
