The Black Mental Health Corp. is a mental health facility providing therapy and psychiatric services. Clients come for themselves and for their children. A primary reason for choosing this business is its focus on and understanding of a specific culture, which was lacking at other facilities. While there were some initial hiccups requiring patience, the experience has been positive. The staff is consistently described as amazing, exceptional, inviting, professional, friendly, nice, and welcoming. They go over and beyond with customer service. Clients feel thankful for the founder's vision to empower their culture with these essential services. The business is highly recommended to others.
This is honestly only my second therapy session and like I really enjoy my therapy session my therapist makes me feel safe and that’s something I struggled with I just thank God for whomever created this program! Thankful for the receptionist both the young lady and young man have always had patience and good energy with me! Sometimes appointments can get pushed out far but like we’ve been coming up on a bunch of holidays and then like I feel like more people are now becoming aware of how important mental health is so like them vs these hospitals that’s taking months and months to give people in I say give them some grace in that area but thanks again...read full review
I deleted my last review because I felt gaslit into leaving one by the professional who asked me to. She not only yelled at me why can't I keep a man, but when was I going to get over my childhood trauma. I hope the other therapist are more professional. I have hope in this place.
Can't say enough about this place definitely highly recommend if you're looking for help and when somebody who looks more like you or from your background this is the place to go
