I can't say enough good things about RAH. They have been so focused and kind and attentive to our pets over the past few years. When one of our dogs required ACL surgery, they helped us with a financial plan, and the surgery and healing went beyond what we expected. Recently, Dr Shulman went out of his way to research and help us with an issue that we didn't even expect him to follow up on. They are a great team and really take great care of your pets. Highly recommend!

My heart overflows with gratitude for Rhinebeck Animal Hospital, a haven of peace and understanding. Dr. Porter and her team embody the very essence of compassion, walking alongside me through the darkest moments of my life as I made the agonizing decision to say goodbye to Jezzie. Their selfless devotion to their craft is a shining example of the profound impact that kindness can have on our lives. From Jenn's warm welcome to Dr. Porter's gentle guidance, every moment was infused with a deep sense of empathy and understanding. As I navigated the unimaginable pain of losing my beloved pet, their unwavering support and care helped me find a sense of solace and peace. I am forever changed by this experience and feel deeply grateful to have found such an extraordinary veterinary team.

We rescued a cat that was living in an abandoned car that was enduring the sub zero degree weather. After the cat was brave enough to come out from under the tub where it was hiding for three days, we took him to Rhinebeck A.H. because we had positive experiences before there, and we LOVE Dr. Porter. The bill for the visit was $722. And that was after the free SPCA rescue exam credit. The cat will still need to be neutered. We are both retired and love animals, but if we knew that it would be so expensive, I don’t know if we would have rescued this cat. I feel that this veterinarian is just out of our league.

Recently we had our dog Luna spayed at Rhinebeck Animal Hospital and they did such a nice job. The receptionists, good communication, and high quality of care made me feel comfortable through the whole process. Andrea and the team took such good CARE of our baby. Thanks to everyone!!

I WAS A CLEINT FOR 13 YEARS AT RHINEBECK ANIMAL HOSPITAL AND SPENT THROUGHOUT THE YEARS PLENTY OF MONEY. WELL I H A D MY 2 AND HALF YEAR old cat die due to the hospital not seeing her as a emergency and I had called for 5 days to get an appointment. I HAD GOTTen mad each time I would call to see if they could fit her in. WELL I LOST IT FINALLY AND HAD TOLD THE OFFICE I HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND TOLD OFF TWO B OF THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE. THEN I GET A CALL FROM THE BILLING OFFICE PERSON SANDY TELLING ME I HAD A BAD ATTITUDE WITH HER CARE REPRESENTATIVE AND NOT TO COME BACK TOBTHEIR OFFICE. I HAD TOLD HER IVWAS UPSET SO SHE SAID WE ARE ENDING YOU FROM COMING BACK HERE I HOPE YOU GET ANOTHER VET

First, calling to make the appointment for our new puppy and our 3yo cat was effortless and pleasant. Spoke with Sophia who was so nice and professional. Our initial appointment for both was today and we were so pleased. The office was ever so clean and everyone was so kind. The doctor and his assistants were perfect in everyday. Can't say enough about how great an experience it was. 2 years plus of going to another vet we had no idea what we were missing. Kindness, compassion and professionalism. Thank you all. We have been taking our GSMD to RAH routinely since she was a puppy, but this past year has brought us here often due to many health issues Luna has faced as she is getting older. We always feel that our dog is truly cared for. The schedulers work hard to find Luna an appointment (sometimes emergently) and the vet techs are gentle and kind to her. We have seen many of the wonderful veterinarians and they have all exhibited expertise and care. Recently we have been seeing Dr. Shulman and we so appreciate his thoughtful discussions of Luna's conditions and approaches to plan of care. There was one particular incident when Luna had an emergency injury, and Dr. Shulman accepted her, despite a full schedule, later calling me with updates about her condition throughout the day. It is clear that the doctors and staff at RAH really advocate and care for their animal patients. 10/10 highly recommend.
