We brought our schnauzer, Randy, to musbro On June 12, 2026, this was a very hot humid day, Randy was dropped off at 9 AM for grooming along with our other pet Annie, which is also a schnauzer, we received a call at 12 o’clock that Randy was having a medical emergency, he was rushed to VEG 24 hour emergency pet hospital in Nanuet, New York, which is approximately 15 minutes away from the Orangeburg location, Randy suffered from a heat stroke and a heart attack And unfortunately, passed away, needless to say we are devastated. Randy was an older dog. That was an excellent condition and we took Spectacularcare of him. When Randy was dropped off, he was in good spirits and in great health, the only The staff when they alerted us that there was a medical emergency we never received another call from anybody else giving us any condolences, after not hearing from them the next morning, I went in and spoke to the owner, who was not there when this all took place the day before, I explained to him that my dog Passed away in his Staff care and that he should’ve reached out to me, I am warning anybody to be aware of this place. to add another in They charge us full price for Annie’s grooming did not even comp that. To me it’s obvious that this man is only interested in profits. and I also may add that we have a $1600 bill from the animal hospital that he had no interest in paying for which I felt he was totally responsible for the death of Randy.

This place wasn’t very professional. I went in person to make an appointment for my Yorkie. Explained he was matted and that he needed a full haircut. The staff made me feel confident that they can handle the task. I dropped off my dog the day of and the groomer evaluated him and said “no problem we will cut his hair low” Well! A few hours later pick up time came which was noticed by a phone call in which nothing was indicated that something had occurred with my dog during grooming. Upon arrival the front desk STILL didn’t tell me anything was wrong and charged me $102 for his “grooming” After charging me a different groomer from the one I had left my dog with in the morning came out and BOY did my dog look like he had went through a dog fight…. Hair was all uneven and had a deep laceration and was bleeding in his back leg. The groomer literally said “ I just wanted you to hear it from me first that he wouldn’t stay still so he was cut and took two of us to groom him (a yorkie 2 groomers) his face on the side is completely botched, leg was cut wasn’t even given first aid for it told me to go get my own antibiotic cream, his private parts were razor off and red. What a terrible place! To think I was going to consider their boarding!!! Worst part of it all didn’t even call to find out if my dog was evolving fine afterwards considering he was in pain the rest of the day from his deep laceration that costed a vet bill afterwards due to nonstop bleeding. The place is OLD. They don’t even use computers!!! Everything is in paper still no advancement which demonstrates that they don’t input any income that they make back into the business. Never did I have such an issue with zooming grooming who charged less comes to your house it’s only one groomer or petsmart grooming does an excellent job with packages to choose from. I won’t tell anyone don’t go here. Make your own judgment for your furry friends well enough that they deserve a spa treatment not some butcher service.
