Hands down my FAVORITE nail salon in Manhattan. Nail Suite is rube by professionals who give top-tier service by true nail artists,
After a bad set of acrylics out on by another salon on 125th, Lisa soaked off the set herself m, making sure that my natural nails experienced as little harm as possible. Afterwards, Nery applied a gel overlay and helped me picked the right color for my upcoming plans and wardrobe.
The salon is always clean, the pedis are done in a really nicely decorated area that’s perfect for selfies, and the prices are super affordable.
Be sure to make an appointment because they’re in high demand and don’t often have time to accommodate walk-ins.
Stylist: Nery has been my stylist for both visits and can copy a lot of designs shown to her.

I only came to this place because my nail tech was booked, it had good reviews and I needed my nails done for an occasion. The ladies who work there are very sweet and have good customer service. However, I was charged 100 dollar for this…. I’m sorry but this is not 100 dollars worth of work. Of course I paid because I understand it’s a business and the girl who worked on my nails tried her best but now I have to book for my nail tech to fix them. They don’t use acrylic they use builder gel, asked for square shape and it’s not even square it’s round at the corners and the nail polish looks extremely bulky, I didn’t even get a design, no French tips or anything extra on the nails and was charged 100... Please learn to price properly and buy the proper materials. Also, the nail tech was very sweet but needs more practice.

First of all,I request from Google a black own and operating salon ,Negative! Second when I get there the place looks old and out dated, furniture old and uncomfortable. Then ,so let me say this I am a Blackman that understands the importance of self care. This place was the worst I've been In my 56 years on the earth. I asked for a pedi/Mani with buff shine. The pedi was so uncomfortable and it came out discussing. To the point where I didn't even want to see how my Mani would come out. So I decided to just pay for the pedi and go. 40$ JUST FOR MY FEET ,THAT WHICH I GET PEDI'S 2X A MONTH SO MY FEET ARENT A LOT OF WORK! 40$ THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED DOWN! SO I GIVE NO STARS!!!! DONT WASTE YOU TIME AND TREASURE!!!!! WE NEED MORE BLACK OWNED AND OPERATING SALONS!!!!!!! But I had to put one star just to post my comment, smh

A wonderful experience sharing with Lisa Logan, her charisma, kindness, good sense of humor and above all her charm ? the time it takes to do your nails you will not feel bored or stressed at all ? TV, music and if you go on a Saturday ? good Mimosa ? you won't regret entering that place, believe me ??

Loved the experience at Nail Suite. I was treated like family in this spa environment. They took their time, didnt rush me and made me feel comfortable. They placed several coats of nail.polish on my hands and feet ensuring that the polish would last several weeks. I'll return again and again. Thanks Lisa!!

I decided to get my nails done here after at least 2 years of passing by. I usually get acrylic but was open to try out the hard gel manicure service. The overall experience was decent. Some important things to note: this establishment has a strict “by-appointment” policy which you have to adhere to. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 times I visited this spot, I had to wait first for 33 minutes and second for 52 minutes from my appointed time to get an hour or less service done so if you have somewhere to be, please factor this in. In my last visit, I politely asked about the long waits and was literally shut down by Lisa. I explained to her that I have been experiencing long waits and instead of politely apologizing about this, she was rude and her retort was harsh. I felt embarrassed as my question was to her but her response got the attention of everyone in the salon. At the point of payment, she mumbled an apology for the wait but I knew I was never going back. They have their good days so hope you catch them then.

Let me preface this by saying this review is long overdue, and reflects my last experience in this establishment, as a former loyal customer. Upon leaving the Nail Suite, I walked away feeling berated and devalued. When I initially spoke to the owner (Lisa Logan) about accommodating my request to retroactively apply my visits to the loyalty card, she immediately started the conversation with, "I'm not trying to chastise you, but it is your responsibility to keep your card." Ironically, starting off a conversation in that tone, would usually result in the customer feeling "chastised." She continued emphasizing that it was "my responsibility" to present my card, as her team will not ask me for it. As someone who prides herself in "providing high quality service (quoted from the company website)," which usually entails spending 45-90 minutes with each client, was she suggesting that it was unreasonable to spend 5 seconds to remind this same client about their loyalty card? Putting the onus on the customer, for a loyalty program created by HER establishment, is unfair. When I purchase goods from a Rite Aid, local food market, or any other store with a reward/loyalty program, the first question I'm asked at checkout is, "do you have your rewards card?" Please note, this does not include me spending 60 minutes with these cashiers engaged in conversation while being serviced. It's an act of courtesy and honesty on behalf of the merchant. It literally takes no time to remind a client about his/her loyalty card. Immediately following our conversation, I was still under the impression that my manicure would be free of charge. Her tone was extremely condescending. I've never disrespected any Naile Suite staff member. In fact, I've gone out of my way to be courteous and respectful; I'm usually on time for my appointments, call ahead of time if I'm running late or need to reschedule, and have been understanding whenever I've had to wait past my scheduled time. Nonetheless, despite the owner's tone over the phone, I kept my appointment with the tech, who provided great service. However, at check-out, my experience shifted, when I interacted with Ms. Logan (again). The loyalty card clearly stated FREE on the seventh visit. However, the owner insisted that it meant I would only receive $12 off. So, not only was I chastised about the loyalty card being "my responsibility," but now I'm left to decipher the new meaning of "free." I've always understood the term "free" to mean "free," not $12 off. This was extremely confusing, and misleading to say the least. Hopefully the staff reads this with an open mind rather than a critical lens. I no longer frequent the Naile Suite, but felt my review was still valuable. Moreover, they never responded to my concerns via email.
