OPR is a little gem of a store. The owners show an exceptional attention to detail and a care for the customer’s wishes that goes beyond the usual standards. I visited the store with my daughter, and the experience was both highly professional and warmly personal. Viola had all the time she needed to decide, try things on, and chat with the wonderfully kind hostess. At the end of the appointment, the result was the wonderful smile of a happy teenager! What a gem! The owners design and source the materials themselves in Italy. Manufactured there and directly shipped to their Atelier in New York. No middle man. Which means that you get an exquisite product for a reasonable price. I have shied away from acetate glasses my entire life because I’m very sensitive to the weight (headaches). But their material is not only beautiful, but very lightweight and durable. I can’t wait to go back and pick out another pair. I’m wearing their “butterfly” style.
The owners are lovely human beings. They will make you feel right at home in their shop.

I used to think I was an eyewear collector. It wasn’t until I met the wonderfully talented team at OPR, that I realized that I was not a collector, but someone who has been painfully searching for the right frame, right fit, and right style that captured my personality. The collaboration and creativeness of this team is stellar. FINALLY, my face and temples have found its home. LOVE!
