I recently visited New York Vision Associates for the first time, and I was really impressed with the service. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Katherine Yau was the one who checked my vision, and she was absolutely wonderful—very patient, thorough, and explained everything clearly. I truly appreciated the care and attention she gave me.
For a first-time visit, it couldn’t have gone any better. I definitely recommend New York Vision Associates and Dr. Yao to anyone looking for great eye care! 👓✨

Dr. Yau and the team at New York Vision Associates are absolutely amazing! I came in from New Jersey for help with extreme eye dryness, and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Yau did a full, thorough exam—not only for the dryness but to rule out any underlying eye disease. She explained everything clearly (like no other optometrist I’ve seen before) and made me feel confident about my treatment plan.
She recommended and performed an in-office IPL treatment that was completely painless and significantly improved my symptoms and my skin (awesome right ☺️). She also gave me helpful tips and at-home care instructions for long-term maintenance.
The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes out of their way to accommodate my busy schedule. I truly appreciate their professionalism and care. Even though I live in NJ, I would 100% make the trip to NYC just to see Dr. Yau. I highly, highly recommend her.

I called New York Vision Associates for a same-day appointment. Glad to be able to see the doctor and get glasses! Dr. Yau did a great job checking my eyes. I love my glasses! They have all kind of designer frames. I'm so happy I can see clearly and look fashionable too

Stellar experience with Dr. Katherine. I went in because my 8 month old baby accidentally poked me in my eye. She saw I had an abrasion and prescribed antibiotic eye drops. In addition, she gave me a full eye exam. She is professional, friendly, highly knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions succinctly yet did not make me feel rushed. She truly cares about her patients. I highly recommend her for all your vision needs. She is also wonderful with children!

From making the appointment, getting my eyes checked, to ordering contacts, the whole process went smoothly. They're easily reachable, plus they're open Saturdays which is super convenient. The doctor was thorough and answered all my questions. I'll be back next year!
