Cobbler Concierge - Luxury Leather/Shoe Repair Company New York City

When my favorite McQueen bag's lining began to fall apart, I started researching where to get it repaired. My local shoe repair guy in MI who has performed wonders on my shoes and fixing minor issues with my bag, could not repair the lining. I called the McQueen store in NYC to ask if they could repair it but since I bought it at Saks they said no but gave me recommendations on who could help in NYC. As I happened to be in NYC the next month, I made a trip in person to Jim's Shoe Repair to get an estimate on the repair. I can't say enough great things about Jim's and the amazing people who work there! As someone who has an ever growing collection of high end designer shoes (that I wear extensively though the wretched streets of NYC) I struggled for years to find a cobbler who I could trust to not ruin my shoes (not to mention someone who could repair them to almost perfect original state). I'm not sure I can think of a better example of a business whose services are so consistently stellar. Yes, they can be pricey but when you compare the cost of replacing the items that need repair you realize that bringing them to Jim's was the right decision. They make everything look like new again. I can't recommend them enough.
