Absolute incompetence experienced today. They knocked down electrical cables and snapped an electrical pole while cutting down my neighbor's tree, severing power to half the block and local elementary school for now over 8 hours. (So we have no heat and it's below freezing). This tree company has remained on our street, as they are trapped by the cables, but they have been idling the entire time. PLEASE PLEASE for the sake of your neighbors do NOT hire this company to cut down your trees.

Over 2 weeks and no response or estimate. Very poor customer service and unreliable. I called office after a week with no contact and was told an estimate would be sent. NO Contact ( phone or email) And time wasted .

Whoever is Kevin Wyatt's assistant is the reason my husband and I canceled our appointment. She had such a horrible attitude when we called to inquire if Kevin was still coming because it was 30mins passed our scheduled time. Whatever the case was didn't matter to us we still wanted to meet with him but it was her immediate attitude and unprofessionalism that threw us off completely. She spoke so harshly and hung up the phone before we could respond. Felt like we called someone at the DMW. He has to be losing alot of business because of her if this is how she talks to people.

Poor experience with Emerald Tree and Shrub Care. I hired them to spray a fungicide on my tree and it was sprayed all over my patio furniture. The owner Steve Farrelly made an appointment with me to come "survey the damage" but never showed up and they have since stopped returning calls or answering emails. Too bad since I was very pleased with the earlier treatments. Disappointing to see a company take such little pride in, and responsibility for, their work.

I’ve used Emerald Tree service for years and now several of my neighbors also use them. Either Kevin or Michael come by when requested to assess any problems or needs around my yard. They are so knowledgeable and you can tell they really love what they do. They make very conservative recommendations and try to save my plantings whenever possible. Their tree crews are very polite and efficient and clean up well. The office team also works well, filling requests and returning calls promptly and politely. I am extremely happy with this business on all levels and wouldn’t use anyone else.Services: Cabling & bracing

He doesn't hard sell, try to talk you into work that doesn't have to be done or let you cut down a tree that is unusual (identifies it for you) and can be saved with perhaps heavy trimming.
