On 2/5/2022 I had an electrician from Garden City Park come to my home to install a dimmer switch. He also had to install a ground wire and he provided a cover plate. The whole job took less than 30 minutes, using my new switch. I was charged $355 for the work. The company sent David, of David electric and told me to make the check out to him. When I was given the price I spoke with both David and a representative of Garden City Park electric. Each told me that was the price. This is an incredible rip off and was double, if not more, than I should have been charged. Never use this firm, try Albertson Electric instead, they are honest.
