I’ve been coming to Yemaya Wellness for a few years now. The purpose is more body work than a relaxing massage so that I’m able to run, row, and lift. I’m here about 3x per month. Lorraine has been amazing at making sure I’m able to keep up my training routine. Heather is absolutely amazing! I saw her for post-op lymphatic drainage massage and she made such a big difference in my recovery. She is incredibly knowledgeable, gentle, and really understands post-surgical care. After just a few sessions my swelling improved so much and I felt more comfortable in my healing process. She prepared me for my second surgery, and at my one-month follow-up my surgeon was so impressed with how well I healed. I started seeing Heather for Lymphatic Drainage massage two weeks after my tummy, tuck breast, reconstruction, and liposuction, And she has been amazing from the very beginning. I was extremely nervous when I first arrived, But Heather immediately made me feel comfortable with her humble, kind demeanor. She’s exceptional at her job and has a great understanding of how to work with the pain and limitations you may have. I saw her twice week, And she’s always went above and beyond to help me in my recovery. There was nothing I asked for that she did, And she always knew just how far to go without pushing me too hard. Thanks to her, I feel incredible after six weeks with her. The facilities are incredibly clean, And everyone is extremely friendly, which made each visit even more welcoming. Visiting my hometown. Decided I needed to relieve some of the stress in my neck and shoulders. Called Heather who no longer does deep tissue massage. I scheduled with her anyway. I was desperate. Two hours later Heather rescheduled me with Matt. Matt could literally break me in two if he wanted to. He listened to my needs and promptly went to work. I think I had one of the very best massages ever! He was awesome. Just the right amount of pressure to loosen everything up. I made a follow up appointment while still on the table. I can't recommend highly enough!
