I am extremely upset and frustrated with the experience we had at Millwood Animal Hospital after bringing our recently rescued dog in for a checkup last month. The visit itself seemed fine, but what happened afterwards was completely unacceptable. Our bill — along with all of our personal information — was somehow mailed to someone else’s home. We only found out because someone has contacted me about it after receiving our documents.
When we called the clinic to report the issue, not only did they have no explanation for how such a serious breach of privacy occurred, but their response was shockingly dismissive. We were essentially told, “What do you want us to do about it?” — as if this wasn’t a major concern or their responsibility to fix.
This is a huge violation of trust and basic professionalism. We expected accountability, concern, and at the very least an apology. Instead, we were met with indifference. After this experience, we will not be returning to this vet again and I would think vet carefully before bringing your animal to this clinic.

HORRIBLE Vet!! I could not be more unhappy/dissatisfied with this veterinary clinic. We had our dogs under their care for over 20 years. Since they changed owners several years ago, this place has declined significantly. It is now just a money-machine where there is no true care for the animals. They do not know your animals and they show little regard for their health. It's awful. I have a multitude of examples of their lousy service/care, but most recently we had an episode where our 4 year old retriever was severely limping - and when we called Millwood Animal Hospital - we were told 'we're booked solid today' and were made to feel like we were completely putting them out that our dog needed to be seen. I told them I would just go to Katonah/Bedford as my dog could barely walk, and they suddenly decided we could bring in our dog. Upon arrival, they had no idea who we (or our dog) was - and upon being seen, we were told our dog's condition was likely symptoms of a tick borne disease - which they KNEW HE HAD from the blood test results from his recent check-up. UNREAL!! Shame on this place and the owners. Will NEVER allow them to see my dogs again. I am disappointed in myself for not acting sooner in finding a different vet - which has been a game changer. Fully verified for me how AWFUL the service and care for our animals was at Millwood Animal Hospital. The ONLY thing Millwood Animal Hospital did well was help us put down our old lab years ago. So, I guess they are good at killing dogs, just not caring for dogs.

Fantastic first experience here recently. Why have I been going anywhere else! Logistics were quick and easy, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and my dog got a complimentary nail trim, to boot. Very pleased with this animal hospital and will return.

Millwood animal hospital almost killed my family cat. My cat has diabetes and we went back to get insulin needles and they basically just said “no”. Something about how a head vet wasn’t in. Turns out she was in DKA and we now have to pay a 10,000 dollar medical bill at an actually capable animal hospital, and they themselves mentioned the sheer negligence. You do NOT withhold insulin from an animal. Dont bring your animals here.

Needed nails clipped before a family trip that of course included our '2nd son' (17.5 yr old Jack Russell) The office provided same day 5 minute appointment. '2nd son, AKA Old Man Snowy' was in & out before he had time to process anything! Nails clipped, family including 'Old Man Snowy' all very happy. Thank you!

Very nice staff. They made our dog feel very comfortable and that’s three quarters of the battle. The facility is very clean and welcoming to dog and owners.

Attentive care and easy to work with. They took great care of nursing my senior pup through her illness. Friendly reception staff with a calm environment.

I am a “doggie grandma” who wanted reassurance about our daughter’s newly adopted dog (a foster-to-adopt terrier mix who had just become part of the family.) Dr. Goldman quickly analyzed health concerns and gave helpful advice (and she didn’t mind repeating herself to the dog’s actual owners by phone during the appointment either.) Very warm and kind treatment!
