Went there for the first time yesterday with a new puppy. Dr. Barnable was very thorough. Great service all around. Highly recommend.

We find it quite challenging to adequately describe how grateful we are that Dr. Kleminger and staff, in particular Vet Tech Sydney took care of our geriatric cat Cassius. Cassius was two months old when he first saw Dr. Kleminger and he lived to the ripe old age of 19 largely in part to the exceptional care, guidance and love we received at Companions. Cassius was a strong, fighter who endured, multiple medical emergencies where we thought he might die. All through these crisis Dr. Kleminger and Sydney were there for us. We had to administer fluids and medications at home which Sydney came to our house to teach us every week for months until we learned to do it ourselves. Cassius hated the carrier, and going to the vet, however, he immediately calmed down when Dr. Kleminger would pet him and talk to him. He would fall right asleep when Sydney would hold him on his back like a baby. It was absolutely magical. We love all of the staff at Companions. The front desk staff are loving and compassionate. Thank You, thank you for all being who you are. We highly recommend Companions.

I've been bringing my pets/family here for 8 years. All the vets are compassionate and knowledgeable. They see our cats and dog for checkups as well as emergencies. The office is easy to communicate with, whether it's by phone, email, or text. I'm glad we live so close to such amazing vets and staff!

Very expensive, not open on the weekends and closed every day from 1-2pm.

Called because i had an issue after my dogs emergency appointment and doctor Marghoob never called me back. Instead she emailed my wife hours later.

During a recent visit, Dr Klemenger and vet tech Alara were so kind and gentle with my elderly cat; she was actually purring when they examined her. She is doing amazing thanks to Dr Klemenger’s skilled diagnosis.
Dr Klemenger and Alara treated me with kindness and respect and explained the course of treatment for my cat.
Dr Marghoob and Dr Barnable are also outstanding, compassionate veterinarians and I will always be grateful to them as well. Companions Animal Hospital is a wonderful veterinarian practice.

An “Impossible” Journey Made Possible – Thanks to Dr. Marghoob

Our story began nine months ago when our beloved dog developed a resistant Staph infection on her chest. For two long months, she was treated with the wrong antibiotics, nearly costing her life. It was a terrifying time, and we realized we had to take matters into our own hands before it was too late.

We reached out to countless clinics, but the answers were either extreme, involving harsh systemic antibiotics, or simply lacking any real solution. It felt hopeless—until we discovered Companions Animal Hospital and Dr. Azra B. Marghoob.

What immediately stood out to us was Dr. Marghoob’s special focus on dermatology and skin infections. With her, we were finally able to craft an innovative and tailored topical treatment plan using topical antibiotics and other supportive therapies. But what truly made the difference was her unwavering emotional support—she was always just a message away.

There were many moments during the seven-month journey when we thought we would lose hope. But Dr. Marghoob never gave up. Her kind words, expert guidance, and deep compassion kept us going. She truly believed that we could overcome this—and thanks to her, we did.

After months of dedicated treatment, our dog is finally healthy again. What once felt like an impossible battle is now a story of healing and gratitude.

I was recommended to companions by our trainer，it's not that our original vets weren't great but they were a part of a chain and I felt that they were always trying to recommend something that added additional charges to my bill. For example I did all the vaccines including the non mandatory ones as our original vet recommended. But it wasn't until Dr. Marghoob asked my dog gets boarded or interacts with other dogs frequently that I realized we didn't need canine influenza or bordetella. She has nervous reactivity so therefore we don't go to groomers, dog parks, doggy day care. It's also one less vet visit for us which is great because she does get stressed out at the vet.

The vets and staff at Companions are a superlative team! The vets are compassionate, knowledgeable and as invested in the well-being of your pet as you are! I had used a different vet at a different practice for our previous dog and there is no comparison to the love and attention your pet will receive at Companions. They are mindful of costs while still giving your pet the best possible medical care. After our pet was diagnosed with a condition that required a specialist, Dr. Barnable followed up regularly to check on both our dog and us! You and your pet will truly feel the love at Companions!
