The other night, me & a friend went for a massage. I called, made my reservation & asked how much for the basic massage. I was told $40. When I was about to pay the lady was telling me our total was $98 and she forced/decided how much tip I should give. My bill was supposed to be $80, okay plus tax but to impose & force the customers how much tip should I give. If my bill is $40, why would I give $20 tip?! Do the math, that’s a lot! Their service is average, but I am not happy of how they force & impose how much tip you should give.

This place is a hidden gem.. I didn't know what to expect because of the location. ( The Spa is in house type setting). The massage was excellent..I had a sore shoulder and the woman knew what she was doing massaging the area I told her where I was sore. The massage rooms are small but cozy..soft music plays in the background with a subtle herbal/incense type smell. Very relaxing and I plan on returning.

Parking is practically non-existent as No. 1 Shine is located in a very small house right next to Cross Island Farms & it has only 2 parking spots (I parked in the supermarket lot next door). Chinese herbs are also available for... read full review
