I can't say enough fantastic things about this business. My sewing machine broke down and I'm a small business owner with many sewing orders to fill. The owner took a quick look at the machine, identified the problem immediately and repaired it right on the spot, oiled and tuned and ready to go in minutes. I thought I would have to spend days with out it! He also kept the store open a few more minutes because I couldn't leave work early. It's so nice to know that there are small businesses like this one who care about their customers. I highly recommend him for all or your sewing machine and vacuum needs!

The owner is very personable. Service is expedient and the cost is reasonable. Took in a more modern and antique sewing machine and both were nicely repaired. Very nice place of business.

I have had a sturdy beautiful Singer sewing machine for decades. Gradually it stopped working well, and it never occurred to me to have it looked at. For a very reasonable price, it was completely restored to full perfect working condition at A&S. They've done a great job with it. You definitely get the sense you are supporting a local family and a local business when you patronize the store, and it's nicer to be there than in a big box store. The prices are fair, the service is friendly and quick. A totally great shopping experience and I have my singer back working perfectly.
