My son used to do Tkd for a few years and after that joined JKD. He has been here for over 4-5 years now from the kids class to now the adults. He loves the school and the training has turned him into a confident person. The instructors here are passionate about what they teach and my son is comfortable with all the different angles from kicking, punching, to grappling. I can’t say enough good things about this place. He enjoys sparring and the wrestling and is always saying “daddy hurry up we’re gonna be late”. The last four years I spent training here has completely changed my life. At NYMAA, I’ve learned more than just how to defend myself, I’ve learned the true essence of what it means to be a martial artist through practicing Jeet Kune do.
