A Hidden Gem with Heart and Talent – Asad & Michelle Are Simply the Best
I’ve been going to Asad since 2006, and even after moving away, I always knew I’d come back to him — and I’m so glad I did. Asad is a true artist with scissors. No one understands hair like he does. Since returning to his chair, my hair has never been healthier, shinier, or more effortlessly beautiful.
The salon, Music To My Hair, is a breath of fresh air — immaculately clean, peaceful, and welcoming. It’s not just a salon; it’s an experience. Michelle and Asad are an incredible duo. Their energy together is warm, calming, and deeply genuine. They make you feel like the most special person in the room every single time. Whether it’s a simple trim or a complete transformation, you know you’re in expert hands.

Michelle is amazingly talented and SO sweet. I asked for LOTS of layers and she made sure everything fell exactly where it needed to with precise cuts, attention to details, and angles. She's an expert and it shows. My hair never felt or looked better! I can't say enough good things about Music To My Hair and Michelle.

Michele did a great job with my hair. First time visit and will definitely be going back. Very personal and professional. Salon is very clean and tastefully decorated. Products used are the Aveda brand as of January 2025. Michele made sure I was comfortable with how much she was taking off my hair, shaped it beautifully, and the color was exactly what I asked for. Her vibe is super cool. I was 10 minutes late and she helped me relax into my appointment quickly. She also really took her time with my style and I’ve never had my hair blown out like that before which was super cool.

WOW! 10/10 ? I spent hours searching for an Aveda salon, I came across “music to my hair” I read a few reviews and decided I would reach out. I had no idea that I would fall in love with the atmosphere and Michelle on the first session, I feel so lucky to have met her. My hair is perfect. The cut is the best cut I have ever had. The color is beautiful. Her eye for detail isn’t something that can be taught, she’s a natural. The salon is gorgeous and sparkly clean and no details were left untouched. It’s the best of the best. You would never expect such a serene environment on a busy road but it really is a slice of paradise. I will look forward to coming back every time! Thank you!! ?

Michelle was very focused and detail oriented! She had ideas to contribute and a vision, which I always appreciate as I often don’t know how to cut my hair and love getting feedback from a hair stylist. She found the perfect style and cut for a busy mom! I am excited to go back for some highlights in the near future.
The salon is beautiful, and they sell Aveda products which I am excited to try. Michelle also had a recommendation for which product would be best for my hair. She was kind, encouraging, and very fun to talk to as well!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Michelle and getting a cut and color. From the moment I stepped into the salon, or more precisely, from the moment I called to make an appointment, I felt welcomed and at ease.
