DO NOT come here for a Brazilian wax. Besides the fact it’s actually about $5 or so more than most nail and threading salons, I’m sitting here staring at the celling light as this elder woman is struggling to do a very basic wax clean up and it’s very clear she has NO clue what to do. Going over and over the same areas which I’m sure I’m going to feel later, doing very small pieces at a time because obviously skill is lacked, not even picking hair up with the waxing strip… I’m very close to just finishing it myself.
No big deal I guess, not like I need that area or anything. As long as they make money I suppose.
I have been coming here because it is convenient and the do a decent job. You always gave to wait a long time. The owner lady is extremely rude and racist towards the Spanish speaking workers. She screamed constantly at Spanish nail tech and threw money at her. Eventually, nail tech left for poor treatment. The owner takes clients from Spanish nail techs and gives them smaller jobs so they receive smaller tips. Also told they are not allowed to speak in Spanish amongst themselves or clients although every other employee speaks in their native Asian language almost all the time. asked for an eyebrow wax and specifically said just a clean up and she literally ripped off half my eyebrows. you pay a ridiculous amount of money for mediocre work at best. left my cuticles all cut up and god forbid you ask them to fix anything; they say no.
