I took my daughter in for a simple straight cut a few days ago, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The stylist clearly lacked the proper cutting skills, and the result was a noticeably uneven haircut. I even had to ask another stylist to take a look, and she ended up using clippers to try to fix it.
Not only did the haircut turn out much shorter than we requested, but it was so poorly done that now we have no choice but to wait for her hair to grow out before we can have it properly corrected elsewhere. This was not the level of professionalism or skill I expected.
While this salon might be fine for wash and blowouts, I cannot recommend it for haircuts. It’s unacceptable to provide this level of service and not even acknowledge the problem. Honestly, some retraining in haircut techniques might be necessary.
I had already paid in advance since we were the last appointment of the day, but had I seen the results earlier, I would not have paid for such a poor service. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Had the blow out done and I was inlove with the results. Friendly staff and price was extremely reasonable! Am hooked on them now whenever I'm visiting NYC.

I went to this salon for a wash and curl, and while the process seemed thorough, there were a lot of steps during the washing stage that felt excessive. Initially, I was satisfied, my hair looked good and the style lasted for about three weeks.
However, after washing my hair three times with a clarifying (stripping) shampoo, I noticed something deeply concerning, my hair did not revert back to its natural state. The front and back sections of my head now have multiple areas of straight, limp strands that will not coil. Even after going swimming and repeatedly cleansing my hair, those sections remain straight.
For context, I have thick 4b hair, and I’m now dealing with heat damage or possible chemical damage. I was referred to this salon by someone I trusted, and now I’m left with damaged hair and deep regret.
I had always been skeptical of Dominican hair salons in my community because of the rumors that some stylists secretly use relaxers or texturizers in their products to make the hair easier to manage. After this experience, I unfortunately believe there may be some truth to that.
I’m extremely disappointed and would not recommend this salon to anyone, especially those with tightly coiled natural hair looking to preserve their curl pattern.

This store got bald people everywhere I went to get a silk press n walked o it wit a burnt press my hair was falling out they put a hot comb in my wet hair didnt put anything in my hair n tried to make excuses i was in there for 3 hours all my long hair was ruined n they have no hair so I should’ve known sum was wrong n the customers also was bald also the place is very dirty n the have no patience

This hair salon will not see me again! They charge me 60 just to cut the ends, wash, and rollers, and my hair is super short and thin. In Manhattan, I pay 45, and they use better products; the place looks nicer than this one. The audacity. This same place charged me the same in the summer without rollers, plus they use the flat iron and cut my ends! ✌️🏾
Just started going to this place over a year …I have very short hair .when I first start going they charged me $25.00 and the beginning of this year in February they went to $30.00 I don’t not get my hair washed just a little cut ..went there today I only speak English the lady cutting my hair and lady at front desk were going back forth I don’t understand what they are saying but I waited for the lady that cut my hair to give me paper with price on it I had my money out and her tip too she didn’t give me paper she just told me to see lady at desk when I went to give the lady at desk the money she tells me $50.00 I’m like for what she said she blew dry you hair my hair is cut in a style like a man simple she never dried my hair before I thought she dried because she sprayed so much water on the top my sides of my hair is shaved but she changed me and extra $20.00 for nothing I was so mad if I had my phone on me I would of call police on them …First time I have been robbed not a good feeling ..But I will never go back there again and I was a good tipper and I never complain about anything ..please beware..They got me today but they will never get me again and don’t let them do it to anyone else
