I have a 3-year-old cockapoo who absolutely refuses to let me groom him—no matter how patient or sneaky I try to be! I was at my wits’ end when I found Howllywood Groomers, and I’m so glad I did. From the start, booking an appointment was super easy and stress-free. The mobile groomer was not only professional but genuinely kind and patient with my pup, who can be quite a handful when it comes to grooming. Somehow, he managed to work his magic, and my cockapoo came out looking (and smelling!) amazing. I couldn’t believe how calm and happy he seemed afterward. It was such a relief to find someone who clearly cares about animals and knows how to handle even the fussiest ones. An absolute pleasure from start to finish—I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

Our dog, Ripley, was groomed last week. We couldn’t have been happier with the results! He looked and… smelled amazing! Ripley is a large Great Pyrenees/Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix, so his grooming needs are extensive! No detail was missed in this grooming appointment. We had a great experience. Highly recommend this service.

Guy doesn't call back or respond to messages or emails. Guess he gets enough business he doesn't need to be courteous and respond. Oh well. He also parks like a dunce. Saw his van parked in Setauket taking up two spaces. I also don't get the name.. we are no where near California or Hollywood.. I get the "Howl" pun.. but why would you want to imply that the dogs you work on are "howling"? Dogs usually howl when they are in pain or agitated.

Love Mitch! He is extremely professional and gentle with my dog that gets very nervous with anyone else besides me. He takes his time to make him feel comfortable and he looks adorable after his grooming!! I would definitely recommend Howlywood.

Have to say, Mitch was great from the get go, very quick in responding to me, and getting an appointment for my dog, who was really in dire need of a shave. He is a really nice guy, and is great at grooming! My dog was completely comfortable with him, and the overall job didnt take that long, considering how bad his coat was. Along with the job, the price was excellent, highly recommend this gentleman!
