My mother was moved to long term care.. the social worker neglected to tell us a phone and tv would no longer be provided.. her first full day she was hit in the head by an employee of Elderwood.. praise God my brother went to visit shortly after the event.. Amherst PD had to be called.. praying this individual brought to justice
WARNING!!! We were LIED to by the workers there! They said that because my father was a veteran, his stay there would be absolutely free and would be fully covered. That "LIE" cost us over $6,000.00!!! I talked with Sean the financial manager, and he said no it's more like $3,000.00. However, shortly after our conversation it went back up to over $6,000.00 SOMETHING IS VERY CORRUPT ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!Not only that but there are BUGS in the rooms and in the hallways of this place!
