This review is for Dr Preyer & all the wonderful nice staff at Durango Animal Hospital!! This is the only place i will go to. Yes the wait is very long if you walk-in, that's why you make appointments ahead of time & even if it's a walk in i love that you can check in over the phone and just wait at home! I honestly feel like they do the best they can with how busy they can get. Dr Preyer is just great! i always ask a lot of questions and he's always answering all of them and has a very calming presence about him. Dr McDermott and his staff were wonderful today. My sweet boy Scrappy was in a lot of pain and they were able to get him seen quickly and efficiently. I was so relieved they were able to diagnose and treat him and most importantly, get him pain free.

Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for this clinic. I am a resident of Vegas as of 2 weeks ago, and I absolutely adored my Vet in Reno - to the point that I was planning on driving / flying back for my kitties annual exams. I recently graduated and haven't taken my state boards yet, & moving is so expensive I was doing the most to not go to the vet but it really wasn't all that pricey. My cat had what I thought was an eye infection for close to two weeks.
