I was looking to move to Las Vegas, NV from out-of-state. My local realtor referred me to George Durkin. The referral turned out to be a great one. George immediately began sending me listings that may meet my restrictive criteria as I continued to search online. Even though I gave him short notice, he took the time to drive me to the houses on my short list. He contacted HOAs to get answers to my HOA questions. When I chose a house, he successfully negotiated the listed price down. He managed to have the seller pay for a 1-year home warranty which his wife, Sheryl, helped me choose. We used George Durkin way back in 1989 to purchase our first home and the experience and help he gave us in finding exactly what we wanted was so good that we are still in that same house today! He also helped us, when my in-laws passed with some pointers on what changes were needed to sell their house, which we are still working on and will use him to sell it when we are ready. But most recently, when a friend of mine passed away and left me as executor to her will, it was obvious who I needed to call on again to help sell it.
